Changing The Date Format

Go to your WordPress dashboard and go to Settings > General.

Here you can find a lot of general settings that you can tinker with. We are looking to change the date and time format now. For that, scroll down to Date Format where you will find different date formats which are given by default.

 Besides the default formats, you can also set a custom date format and you can also preview all the formats right below the setting.

Changing the Time Format

Next, let’s see how to change the time format in WordPress. Right below the date format settings, you can find the settings to change the time formats. Similar to the previous one, you can find different time formats in both 12 hours and 24 hours.

Here, you can choose from the format you want or select a custom format in the custom format setting.
