Glide is a universal tool for creating mobile apps. The service uses “Google Tables” as a database for apps. You just need to structure the information in the “Table” and then Glide builds a new app. You can change the style, color design, text, add pictures, maps, links.

Terms of use:

You will need a Google account to work. The free Glide has limited functionality. There are subscription options:

  • Basic – $12 per month;
  • Pro – $32 per month.

They differ in storage size, the number of data lines provided in the table. In paid versions you can remove Glide brand from the application and choose your own domain for the URL. If you pay for one year at a time, there is a 25% discount. 

There are also budget options for a paid subscription: Private Basic ($1 per month) and Private Pro ($2 per month), but they significantly limit the number of users of the application.

Thunkable

Thunkable is a visual development environment for mobile applications, based on MIT App Inventor 2. App development here consists of constructing visual logic blocks in a mosaic style. In Thunkable, you can set a unique style for each element of the app.

  • Free – free, with a limit of up to 10 public projects and up to 200 MB of application memory.
