Know the Status of the Email Template:

The email template has two status – Active and Paused.

It also illustrates that the first recovery mail will be sent 5 minutes after abandonment. If the customer did not revert back, the second mail will be sent 3 hours after abandonment and this continues if the customer did not respond.

The above screenshot clearly illustrates that the first recovery mail will be sent after 5 minutes after abandonment. If the customer did not revert back, the third mail will be sent 1 day after abandonment. The second sequence will not be sent as it has been paused.

The time sequence for each template can be modified as required. Make sure to set different intervals so that the customers could revert back to recover the carts.

Similarly, when you create an additional sequence of an email template, the following is to be noted for its status.

After customizing the template to make the sequence live, click on “Save and Set live” which is available at the top right corner of the page as shown below:

To draft/pause the sequence click on the “Save as Draft” button as shown below:

The status of the sequence is quite important as the sequence will work depending on its respective status.

Creating your first sequence for recovering abandoned cart

Send the email in – Enter the desired time to send your first email after considering the cart to be abandoned. The time could be set for minutes/hours and days.
